Kessler Rehabilitation Center opens new facilities in Elizabeth & Bayonne

June 9, 2009

West Orange, NJ – Kessler Rehabilitation Center is pleased to announce the opening of its two newest outpatient physical therapy facilities at 59-63 Elmora Avenue in Elizabeth, NJ, and at 654 Broadway in Bayonne, NJ. The Centers are part of the outpatient division of Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, one of the nation’s leading providers of comprehensive medical rehabilitation services.

The new centers offer comprehensive physical therapy services for individuals with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, including specialized treatment for sports- and work-related injuries. They join a network of more than 75 outpatient centers located throughout the state and at Kessler’s three hospital campuses in West Orange, Chester and Saddle Brook.

"We are very excited to be able to expand our quality physical therapy and rehabilitation services to the residents of both Elizabeth and Bayonne," said Rich Romano, Director of Business Development for Kessler Rehabilitation Center. "In the past, for example, people from Elizabeth travelled to Kessler centers in nearby towns for treatment. Now we can offer them the convenience of care, along with the leading-edge treatment and clinical expertise to help speed their recovery."

The Bayonne Center is Kessler’s third in that city. It is scheduled to open on June 8 on the second floor of the Heart Group building. The Elizabeth Center, which has a bilingual staff to best accommodate the needs of the community, opened on June 1. Each of these centers is currently scheduling appointments.

Kessler Rehabilitation Center accepts most insurance plans, including Medicare, and offers same-day appointments, evening hours and flexible scheduling.
