American Heart Association names Kessler a "Fit-Friendly" Worksite
West Orange, NJ - Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation has been named a gold level "Fit-Friendly Worksite" by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association for its commitment to providing a healthy work environment for its more than 1600 employees.
As part of the hospital's focus on providing an exceptional work experience for the staff at its three campuses in West Orange, Saddle Brook and Chester, NJ, Kessler offers a wide range of health and wellness initiatives. This includes exercise and fitness programs - from walking and weight loss clubs to yoga and sports activities; heart healthy meals; and lectures and seminars to help educate employees on healthy choices for them and their families. In addition, Kessler holds health fairs and screenings throughout the year.
